Plumbing Services in Bonnet Bay

In Bonnet Bay, a lot of our work comes down to the ground the houses sit on. Plenty of homes here are on sloping blocks above the Woronora River, so water and sewer lines can run deep, behind retaining walls or down through the bush. We know how to find a problem on a block like that and fix it without pulling the yard apart. Whatever the job, you’ll approve an upfront, fixed price before we start, and every job is backed by our Lifetime Labour Warranty.

We don't leave until you're 100% satisfied.

What Plumbing Problems Are Common in Bonnet Bay?

Bonnet Bay homes are big and many sit on steep blocks, which changes how plumbing problems show up. Here’s what we see most.

Leaks You Can't See

On a sloping block, a burst water line can sit deep in the ground or behind a retaining wall, with the water running away downhill. If your water meter keeps ticking with every tap off, call us. We trace the line to find the leak before anything gets dug up.

Roots in Older Sewer Lines

Older terracotta sewer pipes have joints that tree roots can push into. The first sign is often a drain overflowing in a downstairs bathroom. A camera inspection shows where the roots are, so we can quote a repair or a reline.

Hot Water Systems at the End of Their Life

When a storage hot water system starts leaking from the tank, it usually can't be repaired. We'll show you your options, including a smaller system if your household doesn't need as much hot water as it used to.

Big Family Homes

ABS 2021 Census QuickStats show 99.3% of occupied homes in Bonnet Bay are separate houses, and 68.8% have four or more bedrooms. Bigger homes usually mean more bathrooms and longer runs of pipe to keep an eye on.

Recent Plumbing Work in Bonnet Bay

Digging on a sloping block to trace a leak, and new copper water pipe at the house wall in Bonnet Bay
Featured job · May 2026

A Hidden Leak on a Cliff-Side Block

In May we were called to a Bonnet Bay home built on a cliff. Water was running down the slope, and the water meter was ticking fast.

We traced the lines and found the leak on the copper water service, about 2.4 metres deep behind a retaining wall. Digging that up would have meant taking the wall apart, so we re-routed the supply instead.

Over two days, our team ran new copper up the side of the house and under the deck, and new poly pipe up the cliff from just before the leak. We fitted a new valve after the meter so the supply can be isolated, capped the old lines, and tested every tap and the hot water.

Then we put the deck back and re-concreted the area we'd opened. Water bill climbing and no idea why? Call us, and we'll find the leak first.
