In Kirrawee, leaks and toilets are the jobs we’re called to most, and a lot of those leaks are ones you can’t see, showing up as a damp ceiling or a stain under the bathroom. We don't leave until you're 100% satisfied.

What Plumbing Problems Are Common in Kirrawee?

In Kirrawee, you’re most likely to need us for a leak or a toilet. Leaks are often the hard part, because the water you can see turns up a long way from where it’s escaping.

Leaks You Can't See

A wet ceiling under your bathroom doesn't tell you whether it's the shower, the bath or a pipe in the wall. We use pressure testing, a thermal camera and dye testing to narrow it down before anything in your home gets opened up.

Toilets That Keep Blocking

If your toilet blocks again and again, the problem is often further down the line. On one Kirrawee job our camera found tree roots in a damaged section of pipe about 16 metres from the toilet.

Units and Shared Services

Living in a Kirrawee unit complex? Shared hot water and gas need a different approach to a house. When every unit in one complex kept losing hot water, the fix was a valve on the outside of the building, not the heaters.

Sewer Mains Came Late Here

Sutherland Shire Council's local history records show Kirrawee residents protesting to the Water Board in 1970 about the lack of sewerage in the area. So if your Kirrawee home connected in the 1970s, your sewer line is now about 50 years old, and it's worth a camera inspection if your drains keep slowing down.

A Hidden Bathroom Leak Traced and Fixed

In May a Kirrawee customer had water coming through the ceiling below their upstairs bathrooms after the shower was used.

We pressure tested the hot and cold water pipes with nitrogen and they held, so the pipes in the wall weren't the problem. A thermal camera showed the damp patch spreading under the bathroom. Then our dye test showed the bath waste in the main bathroom was leaking almost straight away.

The customer chose the non-invasive fix. We cut out the old plug and waste from above, fitted a new one with new PVC fittings underneath and connected it back to the floor waste. Then we tested everything and cleaned up.

Water coming through your ceiling? Call us before it damages more of the plaster, and we'll find the source before you get a quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you find a leak without pulling up tiles?

We start with tests that won't damage your bathroom. Pressure testing tells us whether the pipes in the wall are holding, a thermal camera shows where the water is spreading, and a dye test checks the shower or bath waste. We only open up what we need to.

Do you work on unit complexes in Kirrawee?

Yes. We work on units as well as houses, including shared hot water and gas. If you and your neighbours have the same problem at once, the cause is often in the building's shared services, so that's where we look first.

Can you replace a gas regulator on LPG bottles?

Yes. Our licensed gas fitters replace old regulators, then test and commission the system before we leave. If you can smell gas at your bottles, turn them off and call us.

Do you attend Kirrawee at night?

Yes. We answer the phone 24/7, including weekends and public holidays. Call-outs are free from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, and an after-hours fee may apply outside those times.

How much does a plumber cost in Kirrawee?

It depends on the job, so we look before we quote. You'll always approve a fixed price before work starts, and every job is backed by our Lifetime Labour Warranty.

Hidden Leak or Blocked Toilet in Kirrawee?

A small leak behind your tiles keeps soaking the ceiling below, and if your toilet keeps blocking, there’s usually a reason further down the line.

Rely on expert local plumbers to take care of it. Give us a call on 1300 110 230 or book online, and rest easy knowing every job is backed by our Lifetime Labour Warranty.
