Leaks Inside Walls and Ceilings

A drip from your ceiling or a damp patch in a wardrobe often comes from a basin or shower waste above. On one Gymea Bay job, we opened a bulkhead, found the leaking bend and replaced it.

Ageing Tapware

If your tapware has been in for close to 20 years, it starts to leak at the breech and the washers. We can replace one set or your whole house, along with the isolation valves under each basin.

In-Wall Cisterns

If your toilet keeps running into the bowl, it's often a worn outlet valve washer in an in-wall cistern. We reach it through your flush plate, so nothing needs to be opened up.

Sewered From the Late 1960s

Sutherland Shire Council's local history records show the Water Board's 1968 programme included sewering part of Gymea Bay (Area 13). So some sewer lines here are more than 55 years old, which is when roots and cracked joints become more likely.

A Hidden Basin Leak and Pool Line Repaired

In July a Gymea Bay home had water leaking into a downstairs walk-in wardrobe. It was coming from the waste pipe of the basin upstairs.

Our team cut into the bulkhead to reach the pipe, found the defective bend, replaced it with a new one and tested it. There were no more leaks.

Outside, a pressure pipe on the pool's backwash line had broken, so we cut out the damaged section and replaced it with new pipe and fittings.

Water stain on a ceiling or in a cupboard? Call us before it spreads, and we'll find the leak before you get a quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is water coming through my ceiling?

Often it's a leaking waste or supply pipe from the bathroom above, or a shower that isn't sealing. We'll find the source, open up only what we need to and fix it.

Should I replace all my old taps at once?

If your tapware is close to 20 years old and one set is leaking, the others usually aren't far behind. We'll give you options and a fixed price for one set or the whole house.

Why does my in-wall toilet keep running?

A worn outlet valve washer is the most common cause. We reach it through the flush plate, so the wall doesn't need to come out.

Do you fix pool plumbing too?

Yes. We repair broken pressure pipes and backwash lines around pools, as well as the plumbing inside your home.

How much does a plumber cost in Gymea Bay?

It depends on the job, so we look before we quote. You'll always approve a fixed price before work starts, and call-outs are free from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Leak or Tap Trouble in Gymea Bay?

A small leak behind a wall or ceiling keeps doing damage until it’s found, and old taps only get worse.

Rely on expert local plumbers to take care of it. Give us a call on 1300 110 230 or book online, and rest easy knowing every job is backed by our Lifetime Labour Warranty.
