Water was reaching 65°C at the tap, the water meter union was leaking and the shower taps dripped. We fitted a tempering valve, tightened the meter union and serviced the shower taps.
Sewage came up through the laundry floor waste overnight. Our camera found roots and misaligned joints in the old terracotta, so we dug to the shaft, replaced the junction pipework in PVC and treated the line for roots.
Water was spilling from the overflow gully outside the house. We cleared a grease blockage and checked the line, which was PVC and in good condition.
Six taps were leaking and the toilet cistern was too. We replaced the shower, bath and laundry taps, serviced the basin taps and gave the toilet a full service.
